Test your site in ALL the browsers, mainly IE6, IE7, Firefox 2, Firefox 3, Safari and Chrome.

If your site works in all those browsers then you have captured around 98% of the market!

Also if you use any java on your site see what would happen if your user doesn't allow java, Firefox is easiest to turn java off for testing. About 10% of users won't have java enabled so don't rely on it too much or not at all is best!

Datz one long list there Daz. Lol. Thx. I am new to marketing so I am very eager to try out the 98% of those which I have not yet experimented with. Thx again.

I also provide useful information on affiliate marketing at http://www.afmare.com

Yeah good point

Here is a link to "IE TESTER" a great application which allows you to test in multiple versions of ie.

Here's my 2 cents:

1. Use socialmarker.com to submit your site to social bookmarking sites.

2. Place ads in the form of short reviews at USfreeads, Ablewise, InetGiant, with a link to your site. This will get your site quickly indexed by Google.

3. On site SEO:
- use keywords in title tag
- use keywords in meta tags
- use keywords in "description"
- use keywords in alt tags
- use keywords in URL
- use keywords in Headings
- use keywords in anchor text

thanks for sharing. Some of those are good tips. They should make a sticky with tips and have someone mod out the crappy ones.

Flock is gaining allot of market share for browsers..better test it there too. It's made by Mozzilla but don't just assume that if your site works in FF it will work in flock too.

Your #2 in that article is useless:

"Leave comments on other people’s blogs with a back link to your site."

Since most blogs use Google "no follow" rule in the comments section posting your links there is just a waste of your time.
