Google search update - most important this year

Hi

Google have made some very important changes over the last couple of days. Check out an example of that change here. What this means for you is;

• ‘Review’ domains are now super-charged. Domains like ‘paidsurveyreviews.com’ are gold dust in this new bar, and we really recommend you try and buy short tailed review sites for some great rankings.
• Forums are now more useful for ranking and showing updated content
• Videos are still hugely important
• Alt text – super important (even more than before!)
• Daily – even hourly – content is becoming the new standard for top ranking sites

I just one question if you don't mind:
What do you mean by "Alt text?".

As an aside:
You may want to take your email off of the forum. Spam bots crawl forums like these looking for emails.

Alt text is the alt="" tag on any images, it's a great place to add keywords that you want to rank for also alt tags will be picked up by Google in image searches so you can get more free traffic.

Make sure you use the alt tag on EVERY image even if you don't write anything in the tag information, it improves accessibility and makes your site more search engine friendly :nod:
