So this guy called Sean comes on and I explained the problem. He goes to check some stuff and apparently I had installed something wrong which he said he had fixed. I checked my site and it worked perfectly!
Brilliant. About 10 minutes total.
Customer service is one of those things you take for granted until you need it. Hostgator were great when I needed them. That's worth it's weight in gold.
