Hi Guys,
May sound like a silly question, but do you think my domain name kelcamarketing.com is suitable ? Kelca incorporates mine & my wife's names.
The reason I ask is that I have just been looking through some of the guy's new sites on the forum, & most of them are related to the products & making money online, which is completely understandable.
My idea was to have a name which did not relate to any one particular product, so in time, I can promote a variety of different products. If I needed to, could I change the name?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Kel:wink:

I guess its the content and keywords that will get you your traffic rather than your Domain name, as for changing domains further down the line i reckon it would be like starting a new website again?

"Marketing" is a good keyword if you were to review High Profits for instance to get some 2nd tier sales.
"Kelca" on the other hand is not good to have in your domain name, think of another word related to what you want to sell. Try HighProfitsMarketing.com or something like that!

I agree. Kelca may help for individuality and to set yourself apart but talking from a pure marketing viewpoint it's a waste of space. Try to come up with a keyword rich, general marketing domain name and then focus on more specific keywords for the individual page urls. If you want to change your domain later you would have to buy a new domain, get a new website and then do a 301 redirect for all your pages already indexed in google. So you're better off choosing wisely before you start.

Yea that's right Valor8 our affiliates need to think mainly about the search engines and they like keyword rich url's.
The only time adding in a name like that would be useful is if you are building up a brand or a company name that you want to be unique and recognizable.
