Poor keyword ranking

Hi all

I have been building backlinks for over five month now writing artilcles and building squidoo len's. Trouble is I don't seem to be getting the traffic I want.

Is it me or does this just take time to rank well for certian keywords?

it's maybe because you put links on a low page rank website

Nope its not I only use high page ranking sites its just the case of highly competitive keywords. Sorted now after writing over 30 articles all my keywords are going strong and on the second page on google.

In doing a page source check on each of your websites, I see your keywords are short, generic and have strong competition. And they are the same for each site......

meta name="keywords" content="make cash online,how,earn cash online,fast,internet,money"

Without page rank and unless you are doing paid advertising, like PPC, and have a big budget, it is too difficult to compete with those keywords.

Using some "long tail phrases" as your keywords would find less competition and more traffic.

I know what you saying but there aren't many long tern keywords for this niche which haven't got high ad against them. Apart from that I have started ranking on the 2nd page of google for the following,

Thanks for that Tomsky I'm ranking really well now but thanks for the advice, I've just manually imputed my keywords through pauls backlink packets (http://www.pjsqualitybacklinks.com/index.php?afid=1340) and hey presto I'm on the 2nd page of google for my efforts.
