I have read all the useful guides on here but still the one factor is getting traffic to your site in the first place.
Do you guys advertise on classified sites (most here in uk dont like these types of advertisements), google ads (cost money)...any tips or help much appreciated!!:)

You could try link exchange or email other website owners and buying ad space

If you don't want to pay for ads, which I wouldn't if I were you unless I was first making good money online, then you need organic search results which actually aren't that hard to achieve. Most people want you to think you will never hit the 1st page in Google so you'll give up and quit. Guess what? I smash cash every day from organic Google results and I have written quite a few articles about this on my website. I'll give you a link to one now but otherwise I would suggest:

1. Keep working
2. Only listen to people who have shown they can be trusted (Most peeps want you to fail cause theey dont want you taking a piece of that pie)
3. Reaserach and teach yourself as much as possible about the Internet and Serps.

Thanks Martinact420, the link was very useful, i know i need to be patient but its not easy...one question..do most people on here have landing pages specific to the product or web sites that have ads on them...i have the latter.....
