Default Has anyone used Yahoo answers

Hi

Has anyone used yahoo answers to answer questions and put a link through to an affiliate site?

Does this work and has any one made any money out of it, just before I give it a go?

Regards

Tony

Yahoo Answers can provide traffic to your site. The problem is, it is very, very easy to get flagged as spam when you provide an affiliate link.
What happens then - Yahoo may disable your Yahoo Answers account. Well that is no big deal, BUT they may then go on to disable your ENTIRE Yahoo account including your Groups AND your email.
Just Google it and see.
I have personal experience providing good value to a question with an affiliate link...and still getting my account flagged and deleted. Happily they did not delete my email.

Not worth IMO.

I've tried Yahoo answers and I don't think it is a good marketing idea. Links are marked as spam and I don't think you can gain traffic from it. It's more of a question and answer thing.

It can be risky, and I don't think the results are worth it. Yahoo Answers doesn't pass on much valuable link juice, and people will hardly ever even click your link.

Yahoo Answers may have been popular before, but it isn't anymore.

Well yahoo answers is one of the best way to increase traffic to your website. DO NOT place an affiliate link with yahoo answers. It will be rejected. Instead, place a relevant link related to your anwer directing to your website. For that you will need to answer only those questions which are actually related to your website's niche.
