Hello There!!!

Hi My Name Is Greg and I have entered the world of affiliates.

I Have my basic site running and have a new one with lots of content almost ready to replace it.

I have done probebly most things from all the guides available from blogs to directories and even posted a video in you tube.

The site as been live probebly 5 days now and i dont seem to be generating much traffic, In General how long does it usually take for a website to start generating decent traffic, I know it is early days yet but some idea how long it would take from your own expirience would be great.

It sounds like you have gotten off to a good start

It can take days or weeks to start seeing results from natural traffic, it all depends how much work you have put into it and how quickly the search engines pick up your site and start to rank it. Has your site been indexed by Google yet at all?

I would continue to build up your links and content, and wait for the results to come in

I have built up a good amount of content now but i am sat here waiting for people to visit.......considering the amount of work i have put into it marketing and working on the site it seems pretty slow indeed, I have followed all the steps and advice provided but seem to be missing something somewhere

Honestly, 5 days is really nothing for it to start ranking in the search engines. It will get there.

Hi Dave this is my newer site i have added lots of content and still have a few more things to do, i have placed a nice flip advert in the top corner but i am still trying to get the link i want inside it, Not sure if to add forums yes.

Still alot to learn plus i cant add url in the forum because i have not done 5 posts yet : )
