Default I'm a Newbie, Go Easy....

Hi guys

I'm new to affiliate/internet marketing, but as a copywriter I keep on coming across different SEO tricks and tips from clients, that I thought instead of writing for these guys, I'd try it out myself.

Now bear with me, I'm not exactly the most creative in terms of layout/graphics etc. I did a lot of research into keywords, but this is the first time I've really put myself out there and have HAD to worry about the design.

Either way, using High Profits I've had a lot of hits (mainly from other sources not the site itself) but no sign ups. Any help for a newbie would be appreciated. Having had a look around on the forum, many seem really professional, but I've gone for a more informal approach. Is that too soft? Does hardcore selling really work (I ask as it really doesn't work with me).

Bear in mind, when I wrote the first blog posts I was a bit wayward at Xmas with work and all. So I might delete them as time goes by.

Whup, looks like I'm not allowed to post links. Erm any ideas? I'll go and post 4 more times then....
