Hi Evelyn
Headlines are important in any advertising you do. Of course, in the main, I am talking about a website or salespage headline. But you still need powerful headlines (or titles) in your articles or blog posts. Your headline or title is an advert for the rest of your content. Think about when you read a newspaer or magazine. How do you decide which articles to read? You normally decide by reading the headline and if it intersts you, then you'll read the rest. If your headline can mention a benefit or the solving of a problem, then it's more powerful. Do you see what I'm driving at Evelyn? Just as a side note, if it's an article title you need to put your keyword at the begining of the title if you can. Always make a note of headlines YOU see that get you to respond, interest you and more importantly make you read the rest of the content. Start building a 'swipe file' of these. Don't steal them and use as they are but use them for inspiration. One of my favorite marketers is a guy called Jay Abraham. He's a genius! Check these classic headline examples out on his site: http://www.abraham.com/articles/100_...r_Written.html The testimonials on his site are interesting too. Hope this helps. Phil PS. I have just looked at your site and I like your headline. You are obviously understanding these principles already. Just to take it a step further, you could try, "Make More Money, Without Extra Traffic . . . By Getting First Time Visitors To Come Back To Your Website!" The 'make more money' is a benefit, 'without extra traffic', suggests time and cost saving. And the last bit will make sense to your visitors . . . they are more likely to think "Ah yes, of course. If I can get the same visitors BACK to my site, I see how this would benefit me." These are only quick ideas, just to help you milk the most out of your headlines. You don't have to use them! Learn how to split test too. You can really push up your conversion rates when you split test.

I would appreciate a little help on the split testing concept for the headline. The headline is an image and if possible, I would like to keep it that way for the split testing.
