Hi what's your site? We're producing a split testing guide and we've had one site see a 96% increase in sales with one little change! the guide isn't ready yet but should be within the affiliate workshop in a few weeks time. You really know your stuff, the title is important, if the reader doesn't get "taken" by it, then they are not really a reader at all of you information at least.
Titles can be tricky to write though, I like to run split tests to see which bring the most results

Your headline should be an extension of the advertising that you use to draw visitors. If your advertising says "Great Italian Restaurant" when a visitor gets to the page the Headline needs to be very similar - don't entice me with "Great Italian Food" and then I go to a page with the headline "American Casual Dining"

give people what they are expecting and your abandonmnet rate will be minimalized
