Need help setting up my web page

Hi

I'm new to the internet business and I was wondering if someone could guide me as to how to upload my website so it goes online, i get hosting from HostGator. step by step instructions would be nice and ill use any method you can reccomend.

Hi i am lost when it comes to getting my website up and running when i download the website template it is not complete the header and most of the formatting is missing. In the workshop it shows examples such as the contents of the template files IE:images ,index.html,and ccs what ever that is.
When i follow the instructions i get this: images,index[not index.html,and css.]
When i upload to my web host it just doesn't work do i am very confused.
I wish they had a much easier set of instructions for us newbies because it may seem simple for the experienced builder it is hell for us.
I would be very happy if you could find the time to set out a step by step short of instructions to help me out maybe we could work out a payment if you want.

If you are new I will suggest you to try free web platforms like Blogger, Wordpress, Homestead, weebly etc first. It will be easier for you.

I have been having my promble with this website for almost a month.And I wondering is this for me. I downlown my templet and I just can't seem to get it together. This is not friendly at all. I have my domain and the hosting ready and It is not working for me. I'm not very good on the computer. Can someone help me.

I really hope you get a response as I have been trying to get my site up for over SIX WEEKS! HP's service really SUCKS - they don't answer questions; they ignore requests. See if they can answer questions from the Authorities/Regulators as I am about to report them. Cheers . . Phil Manhire
