Hello Friends,
Last month, I registered as an affiliate with highprofits and I have already started promoting their high converting products ranging from 123cashformula, undergroundaffilaitesecrets and others. My site is a review site for these products. Since last month, I have not made a single sale. What is wrong with my tactics? Please help me out as I'm getting frustrated. I have been a clickbank affiliate and never was it a dull moment. I quite believe highprofits have much better high converting products as I have seen. So please help me with tips to increase conversion. I am waiting for your feedback. chymike |

On the average, how many visitors do you have on your website per day?
Can we have the link of your website so that we can review and comment on? Regards, Jim & Darwin |

Doesn't look like your question was sufficiently answered, so here goes. Having a website and "selling something" on it has absolutely NOTHING to do with affiliate marketing. The internet is a network of billions of websites, and each day a billion more are added. Consider this, the most popular videos on YouTube are those that have the potential to go viral. In essence, having a website selling "How to bottle Blue farts" for instance, is merely the first step towards internet marketing, not making money! On average, only the top 1% (and probably less I must add) of Internet marketers are making over $5 a month in internet marketing, and that's a conservative estimate! To really make money online, you need to ensure you capture your customer's name and email, so that you can attempt to sell to them over the course of their lifetime on your mailing list. The average Internet surfer will probably spend about 5 - 10 seconds on your website, regardless of what you're selling, before they leave, never to return again. So, to assume that, by merely having a website, with some content on it, you're going to be making some money and move off to co-habit with Sir Richard on his remote Island in the Caribbean, is not only a pipe dream, but delusional. Forgive me if I'm sounding a tad condescending, but that was my problem too when I started this thing called Affiliate Marketing... Reality finally set in when, time after time, I'd see the traffic to my sites (I use AWStats), but no conversions. Then I learnt about testing... this means changing the copy (content and layout) of your site... and running a couple of variations through Google adwords to see which version converted better than the other, and above average. It's a brutal reality, but you're NOT likely to make any money, until you learn about testing your landing pages, having a squeeze page (a page with copy plus option to sign up to your mailing list). Again, signing up to a mailing list is brutal... you have to entice your visitor with just enough "bonuses" or a freebie, for them to sign up... think of (What's in it for me), if you were the customer, and you have yourself a winning formula. Other than that... see you at the horses! Have fun with internet marketing... don't think about the money, but think about helping the customer visiting your site, and the $$ will fall in automatically! Trust me, I'm a Doctor...(ahem), I'm an internet marketer! |
